Expanding…

It’s time. I’m expanding. I’m changing the name. I’m developing products. It’s all very exciting although overwhelming and scary at the same time. Becoming a C Corp in January 2009 and changing the name from Jessica Bogli Consulting to Bogli Consulting. I have five independent contractors now and hiring an office manager.

This summer has been fantastic. Plenty of time to play and relax, while working on 3 different curricula projects. One has been super fun. It’s an after school program (could be adapted and taught during) funded by Safe Routes to Schools Project called ‘Navigating Neighborhoods’. I’ve been working with Lynne at Bicycle Transportation  Alliance and it’s been fun to develop with her. We hope to find some funding and field test it this school year. If you live in Oregon and attend OAHPERD, come to our session to learn more about the Navigating Neighborhoods curriculum.

Another curriculum I’ve helped write is a 9th grade Smokeless Tobacco Curriculum for ETR Associates. Kari Stuhmer helped me a lot with that one so I could fully enjoy my time in Brazil with my husband and brother (thanks Kari!). The fun part about this curriculum is that there’s been an illustrator hired to do the student workbook and the art looks fantastic. I think it will really appeal to 9th graders.

Gearing up for our fourth annual ice creamiversary party August 23. Celebrating life, health, happiness and community!
